We start every remodel project by listening to you. Based on your input we'll provide a Preliminary Estimate followed by a Letter of Intent when you're ready to move forward. When you're happy with the details we'll create a Final Estimate for your review and when your absolutely satisfied we'll sign the contract and schedule a launch date.
When your project launches we'll have the required permits in order, our tradespeople scheduled and the materials lined up. During the building process we'll meet regularly to maintain good communication, we'll have on-site walk throughs to discuss the details and we'll keep a folder system to manage and save reference documents and photos.
At Metabult we're proud to stand behind our work and we're happy to provide a one year warranty for your remodel or new construction project. Metabuilt is licensed, insured and bonded as are all of our tradespeople. It's our goal from start to finish for all our clients to be absolutely satisfied with the work and service we provide.
Skills matters. Solid carpentry skills are critical to successful, efficient, well valued remodel projects. More importantly, skilled craftsman make for satisfied clients. Justin, our lead carpenter, has been in the field for over a decade, he's got skills. From sailboats, to house boats, to kitchens and bathrooms, he's done it. Justin is a good communicator, a dependable team member and a pleasure to work with.
Experience matters. Quality remodel work requires an experienced project manager to anticipate problems, find design opportunities, manage schedules and offer dependable guidance when needed. At Metabuilt, Malcolm, the company owner will be personally involved with every significant aspect of your remodel. Our goal is your satisfaction and we have the experience to make it happen.
Materials matter. At Metabuilt we know our building products, and our tradespeople know their trade products, and we're happy to share that knowledge with you. We use only solid wood, we don't use MDF, OSB or particle boards. We use low VOC and water based products almost exclusively and we avoid toxic products in general. At Metabbuilt we're always happy to accommodate your environmental concerns.
At Metabuilt we believe your kitchen or bathroom or anything else we build for you should not only look beautiful but perform beautifully - for a very long time. We pride ourselves in using the right product in the right place to create reliable, well built environments for the best price possible. We target 'value' when we build, for us that means quality, durability, dependability and beauty for you.
Metabuilt is committed to minimizing environmental impacts and maximizing our clients health on every remodel and new construction project. Whether it's through a built green certification or just smart, frugal building - we always build 'green'. Metabuilt is a member of Built Green and the Eco Building Guild and Malcolm has seen nine units certified as 'Built Green' here in Seattle in the last decade.
At Metabuilt we understand that energy efficiency means long term savings for your family. We also know it means better lighting, fresher interior air, faster hot showers and a healthier environment for your family. At Metabuilt we pride ourselves in staying current on new technologies and materials, and we look forward to passing those advances in energy efficiency and good health forward to you.
At Metabuilt we recycle as much as possible and send as little to the landfill as possible - and we save on costs in the process. Landfill diversion is a priority for our company, our goal is to recycle 75% or more of our job-site waste. We're also happy to incorporate recycled, reclaimed and reused materials into your remodel and offer advice on when and where that will best serve you.
At Metabuilt we know that good documentation is good business. At the end of your remodel we provide you with a User's Notebook including manuals, specifications and instructions. We also provide you with a digital folder containing photographs, permits, billing statements and any other important documents that may be important for you or your home.
At Metabuilt we offset 100% of our operational carbon footprint through The Ocean Foundation's Seagrass Grow Program. We're well versed in sustainable and practical systems that reduce energy costs and carbon emmissions while making your home healthier and more comfortable.
